One of my favorite things my friend Kim regularly said was "Done Is Beautiful,"
referring to the bliss that comes with deciding something is finished,
rather than working on it forever out of a sense of compulsion or fear -
relinquishing the quest of seeking perfection so that instead of having nothing,
you have something.

The majestic bastard died back in 2019,
so he never got a chance to see just how much that quote affected me and my life.
But he was right!
(He was frequently right)
